HISTORY has been made:

Our membership is continuously growing via affiliation of Jews coming from different denominations and conversion ceremonies such as those that took place in August 2022 and August 2024, where candidates (from Europe and America) did join AM YISRAEL.

We also had the honour of officiating a wedding.

This is the official homepage for Karaite Jews living in the European Diaspora. We are recognised by "Universal Karaite Judaism" (our equivalent to the Chief Rabbinate) in Israel as well as our sister organisation "Karaite Jews of America" in USA.

Our HQ is based in beautiful Eglisau, Switzerland.

We have a prayer and community centre, which we have named "The Eli Haroun Prayer and Community Centre" in honour of Eli Haroun (to learn more about this figure you can go visit the FAQs section).

The community strives to meet regularly, once a month in its HQ (organising a seder for its members) and twice a month online, in addition to Torah classes every last Sunday of the month (or the one before if it coincides with a holiday).​ Special ocasions include the celebration of the Haggim.

As a matter of security detail in war times, anyone interested in joining our prayers or visiting us must let us know in advance and receive confirmation.
